“The Mind Then and Now in the Heart of Chaos” critically examines the impact of media—especially television—on youth behavior, particularly in the context of rising violence among children.
It’s easy to convict a child for many things, which convicts them for their licentious acts of violence. Those “schoolyard shootings” that are taking place are a bit more of a devilish surprise, which permeates understanding. There definitely has to be a serious study of foreign particles blended with those divine elements within the brain. All over the “mass media,” all that is talked about is “Chaos!” Undoubtedly, we are living “in the heart of chaos” at this moment. Children are killing children!
Television is anathema to those children. However, there is no sense in being elaborate at this moment. It’s as elaborate as can be through these chapters. Those “images” many appear to follow on the contrary are no coincidence when it comes to that “God” Television! Oh! This is no facetious assertion.
Many do not understand the “Inner City of Souls” dwelling within, thus putting them in motion according to external stimuli. Plus, when one is deceived by the “images” of television, whereas one image is portrayed in a positive role, this same image is portrayed in a negative role, and so forth; consequently, the person will become unconscious of what’s taking place within their decisions, as well as their acts in life. Therefore, they are prone to the contrary and are held accountable by the agent provocateur (TV). All else relating to this paragraph will be contained in “The Enneads” by Plotinus.
Not only in the Enneads, we are going to grasp an understanding but also how the Allegory of the Cave and Parable of the life works throughout this book. The allegory of the Cave presented in the Republic has been applied in so many ways, including racism and slavery. Well, it’s being applied in this book another in a more perceptive and up to date application.
